Dear USTers

      Hi! This is Andy (also known as Big Head) from Year 3 GBUS. As you all know the hall issue is hot in HKUST this year, the school decided to form a committee with representatives from school officials and students. I am currently one of the candidates in the election and you should all have received an email about the on-going election on the student union's webpage.

    Since the beginning of the year I have been following the hall issue closely. I am a member of the hall issue concern group and the group organized a protest on 24/9. I am also a student representative for UG issues in the HKUST senate. I am eagerly looking for more opportunities to speak to the school and to express our views. By joining the hall issue committee I will bring into the committee voices of students especially for people who do not have hall accommodation.
